Project Inspiration

In Taiwan, many animal shelters suffer from a severe lack of pet food resources. While many caring individuals want to help, they often don't know where to start. According to public data from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, donations related to stray animals exceed NT$500 million annually. Taiwan isn't lacking donations, the problem lies in unequal distribution.

In rural areas, many privately-run animal shelters operated by kind-hearted individuals struggle without consistent donations of food and supplies. These caretakers are often unfamiliar with legal processes and digital platforms, making it difficult for them to launch effective fundraising campaigns or receive proper support.

That's why we aim to solve this problem of "information asymmetry" with technology. Our dynamic, data-driven map connects shelters, donors, and pet food manufacturers—making sure help is delivered to the places that need it most.

💡 Our Goals

1️⃣ Real-Time Food Supply Map

Shelters update inventory in real time so donors can clearly see current needs.

2️⃣ Crowdfunding Campaigns

Funds are used to build and maintain the platform and ensure a steady food supply.

3️⃣ Corporate Partnerships

Work with caring suppliers to purchase large volumes of food at the lowest cost.

4️⃣ Nationwide Shelter Network

We're compiling shelter data across Taiwan to create a "Stray Animal Support Network."

We openly share each shelter’s care records and food supply status so everyone can clearly see where donations go.

We actively support under-resourced shelters by organizing student-led volunteer visits and donation drives. We especially focus on remote regions and ensure resources reach the most underserved corners of Taiwan.

Our mission is to deliver every resource and every act of kindness with precision, to improve the lives of vulnerable animals and bring hope and warmth to those who need it most.

Through collective action, we show our commitment to both animal welfare and public service.

This is a data-driven interactive platform that allows shelters and volunteers to update and view pet food supply levels in real time. We connect donors with shelters that need help the most, improving supply equality and increasing the efficiency of distribution.

🟡 Yellow: Less than 30 days of supply
